ScanPST mostly validates and corrects errors in the internal data structures of a .pst file. Therefore, structures such as BTrees and reference counts, are checked and repaired as necessary. These low-level objects have no knowledge of the upper-level structures, such as messages, calendar items, and so on, that are built upon them. If you cannot import the Newname.pst file into Outlook, unfortunately you have lost all the information [resolving Outlook not responding](https://www.tumblr.com/fixoutlookhelp) that is not in the Lost and Found folder. After you run the Inbox Repair tool, you can start Outlook and recover repaired items. Optionally, you can try to recover additional repaired items from the backup personal folder.

There are several possible reasons why Outlook behaves this way. Outlook Error 0x a shows an error of server timeout with Outlook’s receive/ send functionality. This error is caused due to connectivity problems and inappropriate settings with the files of Outlook data. Some configurational changes or default features of antivirus can restrict the connectivity of your Outlook to the server. You can either manually disable such features from your antivirus program or temporarily uninstall the antivirus from your machine.

Some customers may experience a delay when trying to create a new email address, or alias, for their Outlook.com account. This issue has been mitigated and we are continuing to monitor the issue to ensure stability. The root cause was the deployment of an incorrect campaign data file, which led to false positive campaign detection. We have since reverted to the right data file and the outbound email flow has returned to a normal state. We also released a new rule that corrected the wrong campaign verdict for all impacted customers during the incident.

Reinstalling your Outlook client can fix installation resolving Outlook not responding errors and common software failures. In case of Outlook crash, re-installing the application is the most recommended method to fix the issue. To access the calendar shared with your Microsoft 365 for business account, you'll need to accept the invitation from Outlook on the web, iOS, or Android. If you've already clicked the Accept button in Outlook 2016, you won't be able to re-accept the invitation from another Outlook application. The person who sent you the invitation will need to remove your permissions and then send a new invitation. To edit a shared calendar, go online to your own Outlook.com calendar, open Calendar for Windows 10, or use a mobile device.

If creating a new profile solves your issue, you can return to the Show Profiles dialog and delete your old profile. If you have Outlook in your startup folder, remove the shortcut from the startup folder. Sometimes outdated or over-protective anti-virus / anti-spam programs can conflict with Outlook or with one of your Outlook add-ins. As a result, the resolving Outlook not responding anti-virus blocks the add-in and prevents Outlook from functioning properly.

If you have a large number of items in any single folder, you may experience performance issues during certain operations. For more information, see Outlook performance issues when there are too many items or folders in a cached mode .ost or .pst file. When you install Office, an Inbox Repair Tool (SCANSPST.EXE) is also installed on your PC. The Inbox Repair Tool can resolve issues by scanning your Outlook data files and repairing errors. If your antivirus software includes integration with Outlook, you may experience performance issues.

This issue has been fixed for Outlook.com country domains. If you used the workaround below you can now switch from using an Outlook.com alias to your country's domain. When users select the Manage Microsoft Storage quota link at the bottom corner in Outlook.com, they are taken to a blank Settings page. Many of you have faced the problem of "cannot connect to Outlook.com" or "Outlook Web is down". All will be explained in the upcoming sections of the article.

This option could be useful if you constantly have to wait for Outlook to rebuild its data file when you restart. To work around the issue, you will need resolving Outlook not responding to end all Office processes that are running and disable the presence features. We have tried all things mentioned above (except reconnecting the MS account), but the only solution so far is deleting the users profile.

I am not quite sure when this started, otherwise I would have rolled back updates and/or removed recently installed apps. I recently uninstalled and reinstalled Office but it only made the issue worse. In System Configuration, if you select a check box, the related service or startup program runs when you restart the computer. If the check box is cleared, the service or startup program doesn't run when you restart the computer.

To do this, start up the Windows Task Manager either by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del, or by right clicking the taskbar and choosing "Start Task Manager". Then switch to the Processes tab and find all OUTLOOK.EXE items in the list. Click on each OUTLOOK.EXE to select it resolving Outlook not responding and hit the "End Process" button. To create a user profile, you must first create a user account. When the new account is created, a profile is also created.
